Paritranay Design Skills is a registered design company located and operating independently from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
The company essentially aspires to deal with an exclusive range of products, mostly hand made, in the specialized area of 2D /3D mixed media textiles.
The company took birth as a result of the natural outcome of a four decade long love affair with the community & profession of design. As a textile artist and design educator designing ‘One Offs” seemed to be the best direction to move into, as identifying craft techniques and craft persons, while outsourcing within India, helps me stay connected with our indigenous traditional crafts and heritage in which I take great pride.
One of the other reasons Paritranay happened was the inspiration I sought from Sri Sri Ravishankar, a globally revered spiritual and humanitarian leader whose impactful programs have empowered and transformed millions of lives, including mine. As a devoted member of the Art of Living Foundation, Paritranay, aspires to help generate livelihood by training small scale industries, organizations and individuals within the specialized area of Creative Textiles, Surface Design, Advanced Ornamentation, Art Textiles of India, catering to all sections of society.
It may be particularly noted that Paritranay is not a wholly commercial venture. While acknowledging the inevitable pro’s and con’s concerning businesses, it primarily seeks to reach out in order to help anyone who can be helped through our organization.
